The Lam Vascular & Associates Angio Suite is a fully dedicated and fully equipped space that allows patients to complete the entire perioperative process (pre-op, procedure and recovery) in our office versus a hospital setting. Procedures Performed in Our Angio Suite
Advanced imaging, diagnostic and treatment technologies allow the vascular experts at Lam Vascular & Associates to perform minimally-invasive, image-guided procedures including:
Angioplasty and Stenting
A catheter with a deflated balloon is threaded through the artery to the narrowed part and then inflated to break the plaque and expand the artery. Then, a stent is put in place to keep the artery open.
Laser Atherectomy
Laser atherectomy is an FDA-approved, minimally invasive technique for removing plaque from blood vessels within the body. The procedure uses a catheter that emits high-energy ultraviolet light to unblock the artery.
