Andres Katz, MD, joined Dr. Russell Lam at Lam Vascular & Associates in Dallas, a leading practice specializing in vascular and endovascular procedures as well as limb salvage (amputation prevention) and vascular surgery to treat:

A native of Hungary, Dr. Katz attended medical school in Spain before completing his residency in General Surgery in Dallas and a rigorous fellowship in Peripheral Vascular Surgery at the prestigious Health Science Centre Hospital in Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada.
As a surgeon with more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Katz places a high priority on compassionate patient care. “I have come to appreciate that it is just as important to know when not to perform a surgical intervention as it is to perform one,” he said. “I love the focus on limb salvage that Lam Vascular embodies. With so many advanced and minimally invasive techniques at our disposal, it gives us as surgeons the freedom to determine the best course of treatment for each individual.”
Prior to joining the Lam Vascular team, Dr. Katz served as director of the vascular laboratory at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas in addition to managing a private practice. “Vascular surgery is a dynamic and exciting field,” said Dr. Katz. “I’m honored to be a part of the Lam Vascular & Associates surgical team.”
Dr. Katz is a fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons.
