Esther Mihindu, D.O. recently joined the surgical team at Lam Vascular & Associates. She was delighted to put down roots in Texas after completing a surgical residency in Jacksonville, Florida and intense fellowship training in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery in New Orleans, Louisiana. “There is such a friendliness to the people in Texas and even though Dallas is a large city, it feels very warm and inviting,” she said.
Before joining the Lam Vascular team in September, Dr. Mihindu and her husband (an internal medicine physician also based in Dallas) checked off a few bucket list items, traveling extensively in The Maldives, Cambodia and Vietnam. “We love traveling and we love food, so it was an amazing experience,” said Dr. Mihindu.
Dr. Mihindu will see patients at the Dallas location of Lam Vascular & Associates for a variety of conditions including Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), carotid artery disease, aortic and abdominal aneurysms and dialysis access.
“There is a greater good to medicine that has always appealed to me,” said Dr. Mihindu. “I genuinely like taking care of people. And with advances in minimally invasive techniques, it’s an inspiring time to be a vascular surgeon.” This philosophy makes Dr. Mihindu a great fit with the Lam Vascular & Associates team, which is collectively committed to leading-edge treatments and unmatched patient care from start to finish!
Lam Vascular & Associates warmly welcomes Dr. Esther Mihindu.
