Forney native, Cliff had a hard time “living.” As a fire inspector for the last 45 years, it was difficult for Cliff to climb stairs or walk for long periods of time.
After suffering for years, Cliff finally gave in and went to his local family doctor to have his left foot checked out. His doctor confirmed that he barely had any blood flow and recommended that he see Dr. Cassidy Duran of Lam Vascular and Associates.
Dr. Duran confirmed that Cliff was suffering from Peripheral Artery Disease. Cliff underwent minimally-invasive angioplasty and stenting at Lam Vascular and Associate’s Dallas office to reopen the collapsed vein and restore blood flow.
“Dr. Duran was very upfront, she took the time to tell me what was going on. I felt so comfortable with her that I didn’t want to see any other doctor,” said Cliff.
“Once the surgery was done she followed up with me through phone calls to make sure I was doing well.”
Cliff is very grateful for his second chance at life. “I feel better today than I have in 20 years. Having stents helped me get back to work, and I went to Disney World with my four granddaughters and was able to keep up with them the whole time!”
