Dr. Tawfik sees patients at The Limb Salvage Center in Dallas
Dr. Mina Tawfik is a vascular surgeon at Lam Vascular & Associates in Dallas. Lam Vascular is a leading practice specializing in limb salvage (amputation prevention) and complete vascular services to treat:
- Peripheral artery disease (PAD)
- Aortic aneurysm
- Carotid artery disease
- Varicose veins
- Dialysis access (fistulas, grafts and maintenance)
Before joining the team at Lam Vascular & Associates, Dr. Tawfik completed his residency in Vascular Surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA and earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

The Limb Salvage Center
He is similarly excited about the opportunity to practice with the only vascular group in the Metroplex to have a state-of-the-art Limb Salvage Center.
The Limb Salvage Center is dedicated to outpatient endovascular procedures. Located adjacent to the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, the center is designed for patient comfort and convenience.
During his residency, Dr. Tawfik spearheaded a Quality Improvement Project responsible for developing a system-wide multi-specialty procedural algorithm for ruptured aortic aneurysms.
Additionally, he was a Society of Vascular Surgery Surgical Skills Competition winner and has presented at various symposiums within the field of vascular surgery.
